Prior to joining his brother at the New Taipei Kings in Taiwan for the P.League, Jeremy visit ShotZone for some workouts and getting up some shots with the help of our coaches in the video above. Lot’s of our young players were lucky enough to meet Jeremy before a session.
LA LAKERS COACH VISITS SINGAPORE
LA LAKERS - PHIL HANDY
During the 2023 NBA off season, LA Lakers assistant coach spent some time in Singapore working with National teams as well as some of our youth. Phil spent a morning in ShotZone running a clinic with RJC students sharing skills and stories. Many of the SG Basketball staff were lucky enough to spend an evening with Phil over a meal whilst listening to stories about some great NBA players he had the privilege of coaching.
NBA PLAYERS VISIT SHOTZONE, SINGAPORE
HOUSTON ROCKETS (now Phoenix Suns) - ERIC GORDON
During the 2019 NBA off season, even NBA greats have to keep up their skills. Houston Rockets star, Eric Gordon dropped into Shotzone, Singapore with his brother Evan for a good work out, finishing off with a 3 point shoot out between the two brothers. A great rivalry exists between them as they were knocking them down from way beyond the arc with Eric coming out in front of his younger brother by just a few baskets, although Evan claimed to have won.
LA CLIPPERS - IVICA ZUBAC
Croatian ‘Big man’, Ivica Zubac from the L.A. Clippers was in Singapore during the 2019 NBA off season.
Whilst in Singapore shooting a video for the NBA, Ivica visited all the famous sites the city state has become known for and Shotzone was on the agenda. He worked out during his visit showing great versatility and throwing down some seriously powerful dunks. At 2.13m tall, several of our Shotzone coaches were seriously vertically challenged against his size
GLOBETROTTERS VISIT SHOTZONE
Many SG Basketball students were treated to a special event held in Shotzone to help the Harlem Globetrotters promote their up coming tour to Singapore in April 2019.
This will be the first visit to Singapore by the Harlem Globetrotters.
GLOBETROTTERS VISIT SINGAPORE
The Harlem Globetrotters recently visited Singapore prior to there first Singapore show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in April 2019.
Shotzone coaches, Jerel and Nat were on hand at their media launch for the event by the Merlion.
Shotzone is a proud supporter of basketball events across Singapore, giving back to the wider basketball community.
